The Pablo Home Art Gallery is not just a showroom, but a testament to the brand's commitment to originality and the integration of art and home culture. With a history spanning over 40 years, Pablo has consistently explored new ways to blend these elements, culminating in this unique space. The gallery's main area is constructed with bamboo and century-old tree roots, creating a cultural space that is in harmony with nature without losing its human touch.
One of the standout features of this gallery is the extensive use of bamboo and century-old tree roots to construct the veins of the space. These natural elements are used in the ceiling and staircases, creating a dense, uneven pattern that mimics the natural wonders of caves. The bamboos, after undergoing a process of grinding, are rejuvenated in this space, creating a unique, environment-friendly aesthetic.
The gallery's design also reflects modern lifestyles, with a blank gray overall tone that highlights quality. The furniture, in a placid Morandi color scheme, conveys a tender, gracious feeling. This is interspersed with bright turquoise elements, making the space uniquely representative. The gallery covers an area of 2200 sqm and was completed in August 2020 in Foshan, after starting in March 2019.
One of the challenges faced in this project was to reflect real lifestyles while considering the sales function of furniture display. The designer successfully elevated the furniture showroom to the level of a brand experience living art gallery. The commercial value of the furniture products is enhanced through the choice of fabrics to match the furniture products, transforming waste fabrics from the furniture-making process into unique artistic devices.
The Pablo Home Art Gallery is a testament to the brand's commitment to originality and the integration of art and home culture. This commitment has earned the gallery the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, a prestigious award given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The gallery's design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
